My Husband and I went on a one hour trail ride on 10/17/10. Our guide was Kim and she was GREAT. I have been many times before but this was my husbands first time. He rode Ivory and was very patient with him. He enjoyed it so much hes making plans to go hit the trails again on Friday! I rode Romeo and I loved his personality. He tests you and like to be a leader but he was very relaxed with me. I can't wait to go on the trails with him again! We love the beauty of the trails and the creeks. Very peaceful. See you guys on Friday! Thank you!

I just wanted to say thanks for the very cool time we had  Friday October 8 thon our two hour trail ride.

 My sister Pam, her son Peter and myself loved the horses that were chosen for us. The trails were lots of fun and I loved riding through the rivers and streams.  The scenery on the trail was so pretty with the beginning of the autumn colors just starting to show.  Our guide Todd was super nice and  helpful.  Best of luck to him and his dreams.

We had a blast!!

We had the best time for my daughter’s first time trail ride on her 9th birthday.  There were 12 of us in the group and the staff did a great job keeping us all happy!  I would highly recommend doing this trail ride.  It was so much fun we are planning a return trip in the Fall!  Thank you Sheeder Mill for making my daughter’s surprise birthday adventure one she will never forget!!

Yesterday, June 21, my daughter Melissa and I took a trail ride at your
farm.  We had a great time.  Lauren was the best guide we could have and
the horses, Midnight and Summer were such good horses.  Thank you very
much for a wonderful experience. 

I wanted to know if you need volunteer help with the horses?  I don't
know much but would love to learn and help out.

Hello, I recently went on a trail ride with a few of my friends at your farm. I'd like to start off by saying that it was a great experience! It has been very difficult for us to find a good place to ride that is a reasonable distance from Philadelphia, but we finally found it at Sheeder Mill. The horses were great and the guides were a lot of fun... the trail we went on was quiet and peaceful but challenging enough to offer some excitement. Thanks for everything!

On Saturday, November 25 my daughter Emily (11) and I had a great ride on the trails around your farm.  The weather was beautiful.  And Kelly, our guide, was very helpful -- she's a keeper!  Just wanted to say Thanks for a great experience.  Hope to be back soon.
 
Two questions:
Can we ask for Kelly again?
If there is snow on the trails, do you still go out riding?

Hello,
    I just wanted to say thank you for a great trip this past Sunday. My daughter was scarred to death with tears rolling down her face. You guys were excellent, Kim (one of our guides) stayed with her and turned what could have been a wasted trip into a very positive trip and now my daughter cannot wait to come again. We also had Kelly as a guide attached to the other child we had with us and she was excellent also. I'm not sure the of the boys name that helped us on and off but he also did a great job. We were treated very well from the minute we arrived until we departed and again, I just wanted to say thank's to you and your staff. Great Job, we'll be back!!!

Hi,

This is Misha, Al, and Inga and in case you don't remember who we are, we
had a trail ride at 12:00 today.  Anyways, we just wanted to say that it was
lots and fun and that we did not mean to not tip you.  It's a long story,
but one of our persons forgot money so we used all the extra money to pay so
they could ride.  So it was fun and we'll definitely be back.

Just wanted you to know that you made my daughter's seventh birthday
the best one so far.  We came out for a trail ride and had the most
wonderful time.  Victoria talked constantly throughout the ride and
then she continued to talk for the rest of the day and into the
evening about Razzle and how much she missed him and can't wait to
come back to see him.  Anyway, thanks for a great day.  We are saving
our pennies so that we can come back for an even longer ride (if you
all can put up with Victoria's non-stop chatter again!!!)

Dori has a wonderful place in Kimberton, and professionally trains horses for herself and sometimes others.  She breeds, sells quality home breds, and does trail rides.  There isn't a thin or wanting horse on her place.  I recommend her entirely as a quality operator who would do well by Hagrid, or really any horse that comes her way.

We had a great experience in November with our group of 5.  How many adults can you accommodate on a beginner's trail ride at one time?  We are thinking about a spring outing for our administrative team.  (We have over 30, but realistically not that many will participate.)

I just wanted to thank Jen again for the trail ride on Saturday – she was our guide and the ride was really great. This was the second time my husband had been on a trail ride and he really enjoyed himself thanks to Jen –she made him feel very comfortable – plus your horses are great and trails were also. So thanks again - will definitely be back to ride again.

Barbara and I enjoyed riding with Jenn today.  We both found it helpful to hear the repeat instruction from a slightly different angle.  We find it frustrating that our brains have a fair idea of what we need to do, but getting our bodies to follow through is quite another matter!   I must say that you have taught both Jenn and Terry well...  they are very patient and encouraging, and have a positive way of giving corrective feedback. 
 
We would like to come again next Monday (this time, really the 23d) at the same time.

Hi Dori, Jamie and everyone at Sheeder Mill Farm!
 
    Just a quick note to say hi and thank you for our special filly, Journey.  Everyone is so amazed at her calm temperment, I constantly hear "she doesn't act like a three year old".
 
I work for a dressage judge now part- time, Linnea Seaman and keep Journey in Birdsboro.  Joseph took lessons last year and showed in a halter show at "Our Farm"  and for his first show and only being seven he took first place.  He rode a very sweet pony.
 
Journey is being schooled English now and she trails Western very calmly in any situation.  I cannot thank you enough for all the "horse sense" and miss all of you.
 
Well, I promised Jamie pics, and we will visit soon.

 JUST WANTED TO TAKE THE TIME OUT TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH FUN MY DAUGHTER NATALIE AND I HAD ON OUR TRAIL RIDING EXPERIENCE. MY DAUGHTER IS 3 YEARS OLD AND WE ARE BOTH NEW TO RIDING HORSES. WE ADORE ANIMALS AND WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES. MY KIDS AND I ARE UNFORTUNATLY GOING THROUGH A TERRIBLE DIVORCE AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HAD THIS MUCH FUN AND A RELAXING EXPERIENCE IN A LONG TIME. Hi!
I just wanted to let you know what a great time we had riding on the trails this past Sunday.
Neither my husband nor I had been on a horse in over 20 years! He had a blast. I was a bit nervous. But I gotta tell you, our guide, Joanne was fabulous! She made us feel comfortable which also made the ride enjoyable. She is a great person and everyone there was very nice.
We hope to come back in the fall and maybe do the picnic lunch.

After finding your website, I just had to let you know that your horses are beautiful!  Actually I believe all horses are beautiful since I have loved them since I was 5 years old.  I will be making a reservation to ride sometime in the near future.  I am in New Jersey and have been riding at "hack" stables here.  I love what you say about the horses and believe in treating all animals with respect and love as well.  God Bless your Sister and Brother and keep them safe!  My husband served 20 years in the Navy, most of it Carrier duty.  He was a Chief boilerman.  See you soon.
